Traditional Meal Blessings

Bless us, Oh Lord,
and these thy gifts which
we are about to receive from thy bounty,
through Christ, Our Lord.

Come Lord Jesus be our guest,
let this food to us be blessed.


For food that stays our hunger,
For rest that brings us ease,
For homes where memories linger,
We give our thanks for these.


Lord, make us truly thankful for
these and all other blessings.
I ask this in Jesus Christ's name,
